The ASSORT Group accepts students enrolled at a beauty vocational school for salon practicums. If you would like to experience real salon work and learn the service and salon skills the beauty industry asks for, please read the following before you apply.
■ Overview
- Application period: January 1 to the end of December, every year (the intake period is renewed annually)
- Practicum period: 5 days, Wednesday to Sunday
- Practicum hours: 12:00–18:00 (6 hours, with a break)
■ What the practicum involves
- Cleaning inside the salon
- Drink service
- Assisting with treatments
- Showing guests to their seats
- Other salon-work support
During the practicum, please do not simply wait to be told what to do — think about what would please our guests and staff, and act on your own initiative.
■ Eligibility
- Currently enrolled at a beauty vocational school
- Able to accept the practicum dates, hours and content above
* We do not change the practicum dates to fit school or personal schedules.
